England captain Wayne Rooney says he will remain at Manchester United after being linked to the transfer of China.
Player 31-year-old has said that he hopes to be full involved in the club's remaining matches this season.
United trainer Jose Mourinho has refused to deny that Rooney might leave the club this month, although the move may not kamlike before the transfer window closed in China on 28 February.
"It is a time of great joy at this club and I want to stay," said Rooney.
