After the Head of Dar es Salaam, Paul Makonda explain that there are many stores to change money (Bureau de Change) which is used kutakatisha money and drugs,
managers of these stores have reported not to participate, but they followed the procedure prescribed by the Bank of Tanzania (BoT).
At different times have said before selling or buying the currency in and out of the country, receives the order in which you must observe.
Speaking yesterday during the handing over names 97 accused of selling drugs, Makonda said in Dar es Salaam there are shops of changing money at least 220 and the whole country are more than 400, so the influx of these stores makes it easy to put money of drugs on circulation and help kutakatisha money laundering.
Manager of the money changing shop TK, Tukuza Command said yes he first heard the allegations because they followed the rules and procedure of the BoT.
