Yashuka gasoline, diesel, kerosene yapanda


Utilities Services Energy and Water Tanzania (EWURA) has announced a drop in the price of gasoline, while diesel and kerosene Ascending by an average of seven to 12 shillings per liter.





The price is different compared Mosi announced in March this year. Reporting to the Director General of Ewura, Felix Ngamlagosi Dar es Salaam yesterday stated that the price will begin to be formally today.

The statement concluded that the retail price of gasoline has declined for three shillings per liter equivalent to 0.13 percent, while the overall price decline for Sh 5.65 per liter or 0.29 percent.

While gasoline dropping, the price of diesel has risen to 12 shillings per liter equivalent to 0.63 percent, wholesale prices have risen by 9.11 shillings per liter equivalent to 0.50 percent.

"The retail price of kerosene has gone up to seven shillings per liter equivalent to 0.36 percent of the total price which has risen to 3.68 shillings per liter equivalent to 0.21 percent."

"By and large, these price changes are based on changes in oil prices on the world market, inflation and the cost of transportation (BPS Premiums) compared with the previous month," said the part of the statement.

It said in March this year there was yopokelewa fuel load in through the port of Tanga. "The increase in oil prices comes from the windfall of oil sold to wholesale and retail from adjustments made to meet the wishes of inflation in accordance with the principles of calculation of oil prices in 2016," the statement added.
