President Dr John Magufuli said the government has allocated Sh. 200 billion for the construction of Dodoma infrastructure, including the construction of offices and homes of government officials.
Speaking yesterday during the celebration of 53 years of the Union of Tanganyika and Zanzibar at the Jamhuri Stadium in here, said measures have already started to move to Dodoma that the heads of government officials and more than 3,000 staff have shahamia.
"In the second phase and the third is scheduled to move to Dodoma implemented next fiscal year. The government has allocated funds approximately 200 Sh.bilioni for building offices and homes of leaders, "he said

About the success of the Union, the President said the country Magufuli garnered huge success, including connecting the two countries and create a powerful nation, thus enabling to protect the freedom, peace and unity.
He said other achievements are in the areas of economic, political and social in both governments that have done a lot to boost the economy and tackle the problems of poverty and unemployment.
President Magufuli mentioned also built for air transport infrastructure, water, land, electricity and improve access to social services. He said schools and hospitals have increased, water and expanded democracy.
"I would say Tanzania now is not that of 1964.
