Mahiga minister gets this success in the professional tour

Hon. Ambassador Dr. Augustine Philip Mahiga (Mb.), Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Tanzania in East Africa, made a working visit in Seoul, Republic of Korea on 24 April 2017 for an invitation from the Hon. Yun Byung-se, Minister of Foreign
Affairs of the Republic of Korea. The visit has taken place as part of the 25th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tanzania and the Republic of Korea in 1992.

In a statement issued by the ministry said that Mr. Mahiga met to official talks with his host, Hon. Yun Byung-se where Mahiga Minister thanked the Government of the Republic of Korea to give an invitation to visit the country, particularly at this time 25 years jubilee inapoadhimishwa Hon. For the past 25 years, the Government of Tanzania helped Korea achieve the implementation of major projects, including the Construction of Bridge on the River Malagarasi Kikwete encompassing three bridges with a total length of 275 meters, with a paved road with a length of 48 kilometers; Construction of the Hospital of the University of Health and Allied Allied Science (MUHAS) Mloganzila campus with the capacity to accommodate 600 patients and closure devices built modern digital treatment, running over Tehama technology including X-ray machines, MRI, CT- scan, special machines for measuring women's diseases.

Minister Mahiga also met with some members of the business community of the Republic of Korea where he used the opportunity to announce the available investment opportunities in Tanzania, for example in the construction of Central Railway on international standards; production and distribution of electric energy; construction of industrial zones; and services to provide advice on major projects.

In addition, Hon. The Minister assured the representatives of the companies that the Republic of Korea, Tanzania has improved the investment climate and business with key institutions providing various services in the industry.

Meanwhile, Hon. Mahiga Minister used the opportunity to meet with Ambassador Sul Kyung-hoon KOICA Vice President where he thanked the Institute for Tanzania to give more aid transparency and without any conditions. He also praised KOICA to involve the community from the time of the innovative project to implementation and management. KOICA have been asked to increase aid to areas including the areas of infrastructure construction of water and electricity from the sun, wind and water for supporting rural areas. In addition, Hon. Mahiga Minister advised KOICA looking uwezekeno to introduce modern farming centers, pastoral centers and centers to teach entrepreneurship to a large community of Tanzanians that it can benefit.

In an effort to find partners for helping to improve the Academy of Diplomacy, Hon. Minister visited Seoul at the National Academy of Diplomacy of the Republic of Korea to hold talks with Ambassador Paik Ji-ah, Acting Dean of the College. The main objective was to study the operation of the Academy, the curriculum developed to give lessons, recipients of these studies, a variety of trainers, languages ​​used in teaching, the procedure for preparing diplomats and university systems.

Also before the end of his visit, Hon. Minister met with the Commonwealth of Tanzanians living in the Republic of Korea where he urged them to respect the laws and regulations of the country as well as bring expertise will assist promoting Tanzania.

Hon. Minister urged Tanzanians who are there who are students considering study in order to achieve the goals they set for ourselves and bring benefits to their families and the nation as a whole.
