US closes a plant to defend South Korea against North Korea




South Korea says US troops have begun to build plants modern block missiles in the same area south of the country.

The plant to defend itself against the rockets, who is known professionally as THAAD, in English, 'Terminal High Altitude Area Defense', due to concerns about the threat from North Korea which has continued to experiment with rockets.

Ministry of Defense of South Korea said the reactor will be completed and will be ready to serve in just one year.
