Parliament has announced that elections to get two representatives of the legislative opportunity for East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) from the Party for Democracy and Progress (CHADEMA), will be held on 10 May this year in the hall of the National Assembly in Dodoma.
According to the statement of the Secretary of Parliament who is also the Returning Officer, Dr. Thomas Kashilillah, selection of candidates will be held May 3.
Watakaopigiwa votes and won the elections will join seven other six being from Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) and one from the Association of Citizens (CUF) who won in the elections of April 4 this year.
That day, despite Chadema put their candidates and Ezekiah Wenje Lawrence Masha, their votes were not enough therefore do not qualify to be elected.
Walioshinda on the part of CCM is Fancy Nkuhi, Happiness Legiko, Ussi Maryam Yahya, Dr. Abdullah Arid, Dr. wart Maghembe, Alhaji Adam Mmbisa time from CUF is Habib repugnance.
