Thugs committing a sacrilege, raping women and wounding


GROUP of 15 robbers armed with traditional and explosions of dynamite invaded the neighborhood and raped women, injured, and silver mining loot last night.

The incident occurred in the neighborhood of slaughterhouses located in the village of Mugusu Geita district and took approximately one hour.

These thugs were moths, swords, staffs and explosions of dynamite.

In the incident, two women were raped and nine people injured by these weapons, it is stated that three of them, including the Chairman of the neighborhood, Abdul Hamza, were admitted to the Hospital Appeal of Tanzania Geita.

In addition to rape and wounded people were also looted amount of 30 grams of silver and gold, all of them worth more than Sh. five million and extinction unknown.

Following the incident, the police force has sent federal agents and soldiers of a special unit to combat armed unyanga'anyi to hunt down the bandits.

The army also limewataka surrender the perpetrators of such acts before the arrest.

Regional Police Commander of Geita, Lodson Mponjoli, who visited the scene, said this act is unacceptable and the witch hunt has begun.

Mponjoli commander said the bandit group of the abattoir sect Neighborhood six hours the other night and keep them in custody for nearly an hour some residents of the area.

In the raid, Commander Mponjoli said, the suspects broke into shops and kiosks housing and plunder among others: cell phones, gold and all carrying cash worth more than Sh. five million.

Mponjoli commander said when performing the crime, the suspects were injured citizens.

Eyewitnesses to the incident said they were accused of the same crime are young people aged between 20 and 30 and that they used swords and staffs injured.

Marco Mjema and chairman of the Neighborhood Mugusu, Emmanuel Mapalala, said in the incident, the bandits raped two women.

Wounded in the incident with Hamza is Damas Josiah and Sele Seif who were admitted to Hospital Appeal also in the region of Geita.

Others are Joram Abel, Ibrahim Daud, Sweetbert Nicholaus and Masinde Thomas who were treated and allowed to leave with the two women who had suffered sexual violence (names are withheld).
