Zitto Kabwe AIKOSOA PRESIDENT'S PLANE Magufuli

MP for Kigoma Urban (ACT-Patriots), Zitto Kabwe has questioned standards of aircraft purchased by the Government form the Dreamliner, saying the aircraft were rejected by other agencies of the world due to its quality.

That is one of the birds that Phase Five government under President John Magufuli plans to buy them in its strategy of kulifufua Airways Tanzania (ATCL). Already has bought two kinds of Bombardier.

Zitto said this in his contribution to the literature on the budget speech of the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communications on Monday night. The three-day debate will continue next Tuesday where Minister Makame Mbarawa he responded to MPs.

"These birds are called 'Terrible Teens Dreamliners' which were 12 and missed the market because it is heavy and does not have standards," he said.

He also said Ethiopia has purchased planes but with large price discounts for not by the market.
"My duty as an MP is supervising the Government to ensure Tanzanians funds are used transparently and seriously. So I ask the government information about this issue to Tanzanians to know if their money is spent properly, "he said.

He said last year, the Government has set aside Sh500 billion to buy aircraft and this year also the same amount and has already paid 30 percent of the US $ 224 million to buy Dreamliner.

Zitto said for two years, spent Sh1 trillion, which is said it is a tough decision when there is no food in the National Gallery and children lack the credit for higher education because we bought a plane.

"Budget fertilizer subsidies to our farmers has dropped from Sh78 billion to Sh10 billion because we bought a plane, the financing of medical supplies and hospital medicine is because we bought a small plane. It's making. Planning is to choose, "he said.
