Former President of the fourth phase, Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete said he had witnessed the oath of his wife, Mama Salma Kikwete appointed after recent MP Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania.
The retired President was accompanied by some of his family and his wife ate witness the oath in parliament in Dodoma which began today saying that it is his turn now to support his wife.
"This morning I witnessed the oath of my wife Hon. Rashid Salma Kikwete nominated MP in Parliament Dodoma.Ni my turn to support, "writes Dr. Kikwete via his Twitter account.
Dr Kikwete entered the parliament was celebrated by the majority of members of parliament.
