INVESTIGATIONS new about uchotwaji scandal over Sh 300 billion to the Special Account Escrow Tegeta was opened by the Bank of Tanzania (BoT), has been completed.
The investigation was conducted by a panel of four experts specializing in international financial issues.
The investigation team headed by former president of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Donald Kaberuka where other members are former Vice President of the World Bank (WB), James Adams, Steve Kayizzi Mugerwa who served AfDB and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) with Mugisha Kamugisha.
The team started doing the study in April last year and shall execute a transfer at any time from now on the government report.

"We have remained with them at the table and out of what we have agreed is produced when there are problems like Tegeta Escrow we want to curb the execution of other programs. In this agreement the problem does not happen again.
One of the members of the team, Kamugisha, said part of the recommendations of the report of the commission has already begun to be addressed.
"In August last year we gave suggestions they looked at, last month we had a seminar on ending Dodoma and yesterday we got feedback (feedback) and now we complete information on how the proposed deal to us tumbukie again in the terrace.
"Part of the measures which are already beginning to appear is one of our recommendations, the model system of consultation between the government and the EU and the EU have taken the good things that are in (the report) and begin kuvifanyia work," said Kamugisha.
