Authority Commissioner General of the Prevention and Combating Drugs, Rogers Siyanga, said more than 70 percent of the victims of drug abuse are women.
Siyanga Commissioner gave a speech on Monday in Dar es Salaam during the launch of the Report of the United Nations (UN) to prevent and combat drug abuse in 2016.
"More than 70 percent of drug users are women, is the most affected group, this is great not only Tanzania but around the world, we need cooperation to ensure we completed it."
Moreover Commissioner who also said, among other things there are three ways that should be followed to ensure the war against drugs is limited in that include intrusion prevention, education and treatment for the victims, while stressing that they would take steps to lawyers for victims of drugs, rather it will help in the treatment and they can return to their normal state as they interviewed enjoyed the drug.
